We were so excited to see the folks from Artifactual again this year in Tucson. Their skulls are amazingly detailed, but are clearly individual and hand-carved--different than the nicely detailed but all-the-same machine carved ones that are out there. It was really hard not to buy all of them.
This one is from the Newlander mine. Chalcosiderite is a rare cousin of turquoise, known for its amazing colors. Much of it is taken for the jewelry world, so it's unusual to find carvings.
It is about 2 1/8" long and weighs 68.4g. It comes in its own box. Price includes shipping insurance and signature required additional cost.
