About Us

Who We Are

Raven in a World Tree is Daniel Blackthorn and Sue Landsman. We both have a deep fondness for ravens — those clever, watchful birds that appear across so many spiritual traditions. And the World Tree itself was an important part of how we found each other. When we started thinking about a name for this venture, it rolled right off the tongue.

We each have our own spiritual practices, rituals, and favorite ways of connecting with the universe. Between us, we’ve been working with pagan traditions, crystals, and handcrafted tools for over five years. But we share something that we suspect many of you share too: the challenge of finding the time and energy to practise as often as we feel we need to — which sometimes feels like any time at all.

Why We Started This Shop

We both have a fondness for simplicity, clarity, and minimalism. We started to get excited when we talked about ways to streamline our own spiritual lives — and help other people make their practice more doable.

There are so many books, methodologies, websites, and ideas out there that something as grounding as living by the Wheel of the Year can feel impossibly complicated and out of reach. Neither of us thinks it has to be like that. We believe in bringing the Old Ways of nature into the modern age in a simple, but deeply respectful manner.

And so Raven in a World Tree was born.

Our Products

Everything in our shop falls into one of two categories:

  • From Our Workshop — items we design and handcraft ourselves, including our Sabbat Trackers, astrological sets, crystal grids, SpellStation™ altars, and workbooks. Made with intention, care, and a genuine desire to make your practice simpler and more beautiful.
  • Crystals & Carvings — high-quality crystal skulls and carvings that we source personally. We travel to shows and hand-pick every piece ourselves. If it’s in our shop, we held it, felt it, and believed in it first.

Our Promise

We make what we would want to use ourselves. We source what we would want on our own altar. And we’re excited to share new things with you this year as we try them in our own lives first.

We hope you enjoy being part of this with us.
